At a Costa Maya beach club, you’ll prepare fresh salsa and guacamole with an English-speaking host such as Eric, enjoy two hours of drinks, and have time by the sea. A salsa dance lesson is planned, but its quality and availability can vary. Taxi transport from the cruise port is separate.

“We were met at the drop off and greeted and escorted to our table. First, we learned to make salsa and all the ingredients were FRESH and it was the best salsa I ever had! I customized it to my liking (no cilantro). Then we made guacamole. Again all FRESH items, cut and prepared. Explaining step by step how to make. Fresh delicious tortilla chips. It was all so good and left us full! The drinks were great, too! Totally personal, EXCELLENT service! We even had time to get in the water and shop! At the end.. personal escort back to our waiting taxi. Highly recommend this experience/excursion. I would…”

“We were on Norwegian Line and had limited time in the port of Costa Maya. we were off the ship at 8:30 and trying to find our guide. After multiple inquiries we finally found them outside the SECOND gate. We were then advised we would need to wait for a taxi, and to talk to the MANAGER of the resort in order to assure getting back to the port in time. We were told it was a 20 minute(?) drive and we would only have about 2and a half hours at the resort and hopefully we would be back in time for the ship's departure. We did not want to…”

All Inclusive VIP Beach Break Pass at Nacional Beach Club

3.All Inclusive VIP Beach Break Pass at Nacional Beach Club

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 92 reviews · 4 to 8 hours (approx.) · from $155

Spend 4 to 8 hours at Nacional Beach Club, a small Costa Maya beach club with reserved loungers, umbrellas, personal service, Mexican dishes, lobster, seafood, cocktails, beer, juices, Wi-Fi, and round-trip taxi transportation from the port. The shallow, sometimes seaweed-affected water and frequent beach vendors are important considerations.

“Nice place overall with good service and good food. If it wasn't for the large amount of beach vendors I would recommend and book again. Hard to relax with so many beach vendors though. You can't lean back and have peace because they stop and try to get your attention by talking to you until you say no. There were more times than I can count where someone was asking me to buy something probably every 30 seconds. This problem isn't specific to this business from what I understand but it makes it hard for us to enjoy this port. Also the beach is very shallow and there are power…”

“Booked a beach experience. Not at all. This was a run down motel amongst many rundown motels. It had literally 10 feet of “beach” which consisted of sand bags stacked around a small access to water. Staff was friendly but not well organized. Food wad not good and prepared in a microwave. Cost me several hundred dollars for what would have cost 100 dollars at the place. Very disappointing for what was advertised. There were peoe every 5 minutes teying to sell you something and harrassing us for money. Wr stayed about an hour and then left. Very disappointed.”
